Hero Arts "Pink" challenge

Hello again. Hero Arts has a challenge up on their blog right now. They are asking us to make "pink" cards for cancer patients. The cards don't have to be totally pink like mine, but have to have an appropriate greeting on it for cancer patients to receive or give. I used all Hero Arts stamps on mine. I stamped the butterflies on vellum and cut them out. I then sprinkled pale pink glitter on them after coating them with a glue pen. I also added some darker pink glitter to the center greeting. I hope that someone will get some cheer from my card.
Dylan's birthday May 2008

Good afternoon everyone. I am really working hard to get all my posts updated. This is the birthday card I made for my nephew, Dylan. He turned 6 this week. I used the people building set from Stampin' Up to make the boy and gifts. I colored them with markers. I used my Nestabilities circle dies to make the circle mats. I then cut the rectangles from DP and cardstock. The greeting is from TAC. I made this a double duty card, meaning it is also an entry in a contest. The alligator is the gift card from Target that I attached inside the card. I just used stickers for the inside greeting. That is about it for this card.
Lots of Dots

Howdy everyone. I am catching up on my posting today. It is raining out and I don't feel like going to exercise. I am being so bad today. This card is one that I made for a Cornish Heritage Farms(CHF) backgrounder challenge back in April. I used the CHF trees backgrounder and the CHF "U R A Hoot" set. I used DP for the cloud background. I paper pieced the owl. The sentiment was created on my Word program and then printed in green and punched out. I inked the edges of the sentiment with mustard ink. That's it. Thanks for looking.
