I am spending the last day of my vacation doing what I love: making cards! I wanted to participate in one challenge for sure, but decided to see if I could incorporate some others into the card, too. This is definitely a CAS card which lately is my favorite style. I got the idea from the Sisterhood of Snarky Stampers Challenge blog. The challenge this week is "joke". Well, I thought of this stamp immediately and knew I had to make a card with it for this challenge. Then I thought that there may be some other challenges to use and I found two more that I could work into this theme. I am using the "Less is More" colour challenge which is to make a CAS card with lots of "white non-white space" (in other words use a colored card). I also have a circle on it which goes along with the Crazy 4 Challenges #327 which is to incorporate circles or pie into your card. Here are the links to the challenges: http://snarkystampers.blogspot.com/2016/04/soss-56-j-is-for-joke.html?utm_source=feedburner&utm_medium=email&utm_campaign=Feed%3A+SisterhoodOfSnarkyStampers+%28Sisterhood+of+Snarky+Stampers%29
To make this card I used some older blue paper from Stampin' Up from my stash. I used stamps by Unity. The white paper is from CTMH. The greeting piece is mounted on black cardstock from my stash. The ink on the image is Momento which I used because I colored the underwear with gray Copic markers. The saying was stamped with Black ink from CTMH. I edged the circle with Black Soot Distress Ink from Ranger. I then popped the image up with pop dots. And that's it. Nice and easy peasy! Thanks for stopping by.
