Love Reverse Stencil card

Hello, it's me again!  So happy to have had a snowday yesterday from work.  I actually had time to do some card making.  Better than therapy!  I am combining several challenges for this card.  I got the idea from the Papertrey Ink blog, but didn't enter that challenge since I didn't have any PTI products that would work for this theme.  I did however use the sketch from CAS(E) this Sketch Challenge Blog found here.

I also used my brand new CTMH Cricut Cartridge called "Flower Market".  I made the "love" piece from this cartridge. I am entering the Fantabulous Cricut Challenge #292 which is to use something new which as I previously mentioned was this Cricut cartridge.   Here is the link to that challenge.  The last challenge that I am entering is the "Between The Folds" Challenge #38A which is use a "love" theme.  That challenge is found here.

As for my card details, I actually made a single layer card with just the "love" glued on.  I started by die cutting the large basic heart die from CTMH from Eclipse masking paper. (All products are from CTMH unless noted.) I then placed the mask onto my card.  I then used small flower cluster from  stamp set C1670 and first stamped it with Sweet Leaf ink all around the heart.  I then followed with the rose end of same stamp in Blossom ink, first generations and then second generation all around the heart.  Next, I used the leaves and stem from Stamp set S1609 to add some more detail in with Champagne ink and more Sweet Leaf ink.  Once I felt there was enough stamping I removed the heart mask.  LOVE this technique!  I added the Cricut cut "Love" from the Flower Market cartridge(cut at 3 1/2 in.) the heart at an angle.  I felt the card still needed a little something so I added the ribbon border stamp (set C1479) in second generation Blossom ink.  I also added the XOXO (S1701) in full strength Blossom ink above the ribbon stamp.  I finally added some Clear Shimmer brush accents to the roses.  And there you have it.  I will definitely use this idea again!  Thanks for stopping by.
