I am on a roll today. YAY! I have a good friend who asked me to make a card for her. She has a dear friend turning 50 in February and she likes more of a feminine style. I found this sketch from "the sweetest thing" blog challenge called Sweet Sunday Sketch. Here is the sketch:
I knew exactly what image I wanted to use which is quite large so I made this card a 5x7. Here is my card:
I used a stamp from the current stamp of the month set from CTMH. I stamped it with Momento black on vellum. I colored it on the reverse side with CTMH water-based markers. I then went over the side I colored with a stylus for embossing to make it look dry embossed on the front. I then cut it out with my circle Nestibilities from Spellbinders. I added a scallop circle to mount it on cut from Basic Grey paper. The pink fish tail is cut from SU paper. The background paper is from Pink Petticoat Vintage Rose Collection. I distressed all the edges with Ranger Distress ink in Walnut Stain. The bow is from my stash. I die cut the 50 from Basic Grey paper using Sizzix sizzlet dies. Thanks for stopping by. Hope you have a great weekend.
