Happy Fall to you all!
I needed to get a birthday card made for my brother-in-law and decided to use some challenges to get inspiration. I decided to try a go at the Mojo Monday Card Sketch Challenge #418. Here is the link:

I liked the watercolor background and the colors used so that is where I got the inspiration for that challenge. Here is the link to that one: http://musecardclub.blogspot.com/2015/10/muse-challenge-136.html?utm_source=feedburner&utm_medium=email&utm_campaign=Feed%3A+blogspot%2FjVIjVj+%28Muse%29
To make this card I started with some watercolor paper. I saturated the paper with water then used my new CTMH watercolor paints to make 3 different colored areas. I stamped the different leaf stamps (CTMH C1504 Fall Harvest) on the dried watercolor paper with Black Versafine. I then fussy cut each leaf out being careful to leave a tiny border around each. Next I cut the greeting pieces also from watercolor paper and wet the top layer with water. I then just started painting and spritzing the same colors I used on the leaves. I just played until I was happy with the look. I decided to do the same technique to the bottom layer also. I edged all the pieces with Walnut Stain by Ranger. I stamped the greeting (CTMH B1419 Joyful Birthday) with Black Versafine ink. I wrapped some twine around the bottom layer and then mounted all the layers. Some of the layers are popped up with dimensional adhesive. And there you have it.
Thanks for stopping by.
