Today I made a sympathy card for Dad because he lost his oldest sister. These are not my favorite cards to make, but sometimes they are necessary. I followed a couple challenges to get my creative juices flowing. I decided to do the Less Is More 5th anniversary challenge which is to make a white on white card with a touch of metallic or B/W. Here is the link to that challenge: http://simplylessismoore.blogspot.com/2016/02/happy-5th-birthday-less-is-more.html I also liked the Muse challenge #152 card shown below so I used that card for the design. Here is the link to that one: http://musecardclub.blogspot.com/2016/02/muse-challenge-152.html?utm_source=feedburner&utm_medium=email&utm_campaign=Feed%3A+blogspot%2FjVIjVj+%28Muse%29
To make my card I used CTMH white cardstock. I then dry embossed the cover piece of white cardstock with an embossing folder by Quickutz. I mounted it to the white card with the debossed side showing. Next I die cut the tiger lilies (Spellbinders Die D-Lites) and popped them up with popped dots onto the embossed piece. I then die cut the word "prayers" (Simon Says Stamp Hero Arts Die) from gold mirror cardstock. Then I stamped the words "Sending you"(Simon Says Stamp Hero Arts Prayers) in black(CTMH). I then trim around the words and attached to the card. And that is it. If you want to see the details just click on my card to enlarge it.
