Happy Sunday!
I am on a roll today with a second card. Yay! This one I made following the sketch from the Mojo Monday Sketch Challenge #468. I really wanted to do this challenge because this one is worth prizes. Who doesn't like prizes??? Anyway, here is the sketch and the link to it.
I pretty much stayed true to the sketch. I used paper from the CTMH "Jeepers Creepers" collection plus some CTMH Willow (green) for the scallop border. The card and the White Daisy cardstock are also CTMH. The gray cardstock for the cat is from my old stash of Stampin' Up. I used black glitter tape (MultiCraft Imports) for the top border. I used my rounded corner square die from Spellbinders for the main square. The scallop border was made using a die from MFT. The little green tag was also a die from MFT. The cat is from the CTMH stamp set called "Purr-fect Halloween" which was the August stamp of the month. I fussy cut her out and attached flat to the square. I also stamped and cut out her cute little "bat" bow which I attached to her head. The "scared silly" stamp is also CTMH from the "Frightfully Fun" retired set. I used some purple glitter gems from CTMH. I also added some extra sparkle with my Wink of Stella clear glitter pen to the purple bow on the kitty. The black ribbon is from my stash. Oh, I also used a white pencil on the kitty's eyes. And there you have it. It was a purr-fectly fun card to make! (Sorry, I just couldn't help myself).
Later,
Janet
