Happy Sunday!
Can you believe it is almost Thanksgiving? Where has the year gone? At least we had a very nice Fall here in Michigan. Alas, the cold has finally arrived though.
Today I needed to get a card made for daughter. She will turn 26 on Nov. 29th. I need to get her box in the mail since she lives 8 hours away. I am a bit bummed that we won't see her over the holiday this week because she has to work. At least we will get to see her for a week at Christmas. Anyway, on to the card.
I decided to follow the Heart To Heart Challenge that is to use kraft cardstock. I think I got that covered Here is the link to the challenge: http://heart2heartchallenges.blogspot.com/2016/11/getyour-kraft-on.html
I used the bicycle stamp from the CTMH set called "Enjoy the Ride". I stamped the bike, flower basket and saying with Momento ink. I then colored with alcohol markers. I masked the word "like" from the greeting with a sticky note. I then I punched a heart to put where "like: would be. I added some pattern paper to the side from the "Frosted" CTMH paper collection which is now retired. To add a little interest I used the shimmer brush (CTMH) on the flowers and on the patterned paper. I also distressed the edges with ink and a sponge. That's about it. I hope she likes it. I had to make her a bicycle card since she doesn't own a car and prefers to bike to work. She is in St. Louis so it's easy for her to use public transit or her bike. Thanks for stopping by.

What a cute card! The kraft paper and the simplicity of the design are perfect together! I'm sure your daughter will love it too. Thanks for sharing at Heart 2 Heart!
This is one of my favourite stamp sets- I love the soft colouring you have done and the layout of the card- so soft and pretty! Thanks for joining us at Heart 2 Heart.
VERY cute! Love this stamp set and have never purchased it; for whatever reason. Maybe I need to do so now because you truly inspired me.
Thanks for playing with us at Heart 2 Heart!
