Caardvark's Sketchfest Friday

Hi everyone,
Just a quick post today since it is another crazy day here in paradise! Ha! This is day 6 of the Caardvark's Sketchfest (http://caardvarks.blogspot.com/2009/09/sketchfest-friday.html). I actually had to be a little liberal with sketch today because my squares were kind of big. I had to put my greeting above the line. I used the Colorbok Friendly Forest collection again since it is so darn cute. I decided to make my daughter another card to send her at college. Isn't that the cutest saying? It is a stamp from the set called "U R A Hoot" from Cornish Heritage Farms. I used my square punch from Creative Memories to do the squares. I also inked all the edges with Pacific Point ink from Stampin' Up. Added clear stardust gelly roll ink to the owls for a little accent. I also popped the owls with pop dots so they stand up some. I add the brown rickrack to the bottom. Lastly I stamped the greeting with Pacific Point and cut out the individual words. Edged them with the same ink and mounted them directly to the paper. That's it. Nice and simple. Thanks for stopping by.
Janet
