I had some time to craft this week and decided to use Sketch #80 from the Atlantic Hearts Challenge blog for inspiration. Here is the sketch link: http://atlanticheartschallenge.blogspot.ca/2014/11/sketch-80.html
I started with a Colonial White card base from CTMH. I then rounded the corners on the base. Next, I cut a paper panel (Yuletide Carol by CTMH) and also rounded the corners. I then distressed the edges of the card with Walnut Stain Distress ink using a Ranger distressing tool. The next step was to stamp the branch (Adorn-able D1446 CTMH) directly onto the patterned paper using Desert Sand ink by CTMH. After that I stamped the ornaments onto Colonial White cardstock (CTMH) in either Ruby(CTMH), New England Ivy (CTMH), or Gold Delicata ink (Tsukineko). The ornaments are from the stamp set called "All the Best" by CTMH (B1357). After stamping them, I then fussy cut each ornament. I also stamped each ornament directly onto the card and then proceeded to attach the matching fussy cut ornament onto the ones on the card. I used foam tape to attach (CTMH). Lastly, I used my Cricut and CTMH Cricut cartridge (Artiste) to cut frames out of Colonial White cardstock. I then stamped the frame in Ruby and the greeting in New England Ivy ink. I attached the greeting with foam tape for dimension.
I really enjoyed this sketch and plan to go back to my craft room to make some more of this design. Thanks for stopping by.
